We’ve got some incredible models on offer at CORGI at the moment, making it easy to buy Christmas gifts for all the collectors in your life. In fact, we think whittling it down to a top five is really hard, which is why we’ve got the whole CORGI team involved in this blog post.

Here are the top five CORGI Christmas models, as agreed by the whole team. Do you agree with our positioning? What would your top five look like?

RT26701 Batmobile with Batman and Robin

The most well-received re-release of our entire CORGI back catalogue (probably), the Batmobile is our favourite model to play with. We’ve already lost all twelve of our launchable rockets, but that’s all part of the fun. We also love the pop-out chain-slasher blade and the motion-activated exhaust flame. Plus, it looks really cool on our display shelves.

To the Batmobile

CC96610 U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701

We’ve had this model in the range for a while now, but we’ve still got a soft spot for it. It was one of our best-selling gifts last Christmas, so if you know a Trekker who is yet to have one of our U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 die-cast models sitting on their collector’s shelf, then now’s the time to get it for them.

Beam me up, Scotty

CC00804 Thunderbird 2 and 4

If your loved ones have been reminiscing about the good old days lately, chances are they will have mentioned the Thunderbirds. Thunderbird 2 was the toy that all the kids wanted back in the 60s, with a neat little Thunderbird 4 tucked away inside. Our version is the most screen-accurate replica ever made and is sure to make Gerry Anderson fans very happy this Christmas.

GO! to the Thunderbirds

VA13319 Ford Capri MkI 3.0 GXL

We took a Ford Capri right out of Richard Hammond’s garage and shrunk it down to 1:43 Vanguards size, just so you can buy it for someone you love this Christmas. This model is sitting on all of our desks in the CORGI office – mostly because we all think Richard is great, but also because it’s a highly detailed example of a wonderful car.

Your fast Ford is this way

AA33322 B-17 Royal Flush

A fantastic example of British spirit and ingenuity, this B-17F Flying Fortress model tells a tale of a pilot who defied the odds to get the job done. ‘Royal Flush’ was part of the 100th Bomb Group, and the only one of 13 planes to make it back from their mission, albeit with two fewer engines and a huge hole in her wing. This is the perfect gift for aviation or military enthusiasts.

There really is something for everyone at CORGI this Christmas. Which models will you be gifting this year, and which ones will you be holding back for yourself?
