East Yorkshire Motor Services was formed in 1926 by British Electric Traction, it was originally made up of two companies, Lee & Beaulah and Hull & District Motor Services. In February 1987, it was subject to a management buyout and grew significantly and was awarded the Large Bus Operator Of The Year in 2009.
New to East Yorkshire Motor Services in January 2014, YY63 OJA No.84 was part of the National Express franchise, and was liveried with that branding, Running routes all over the UK. It was loaned out for a short time to MP Travel in 2020 in plain white livery and in the autumn of 2020, was re-liveried in their current cream and blue branding.
It now spends most of it's time on the X5 Route to Hull, as well as rail replacement duty in Cleethorpes.
